Due to an increase in student illness with respiratory symptoms, a respiratory illness outbreak has been declared at our school by Alberta Health Services (AHS). 

For the remainder of this week:

• Student activities will be adjusted to reduce the spread of illness. Teachers will communicate directly with parents about any changes in this week’s activities. 
• If parents are sending any food to the school, please send pre-packaged, store-bought items. 
• The Christmas Assembly scheduled for Friday, December 22 and the French Immersion Christmas Concert scheduled for Thursday, December 21 will be postponed until after the holiday break (date to be determined and will depend on student illness numbers). Details will be provided in the new year.
• The Choir performance scheduled for Wednesday, December 20 will be postponed until after the holiday break. 
• Parents/guardians: please refrain from visiting the school, when possible.
