Have your say: Attend the January 12 roundtable discussion on the future of public education

The provincial level of the Alberta Teacher’s Association is gathering public input on this guiding question:

“What are your hopes for Alberta’s children and our public schools so they can thrive now and in the future?”

We do not want rural areas to lose their voice in this discussion. Roundtable discussions were held in Edmonton and Calgary. Pembina Hills has a local ATA group in which teachers are members.

Pembina Hills local ATA is hosting a roundtable discussion on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Westlock Inn & Conference Centre to gather input from our own area regarding this question. We would like to encourage members of the public, parents, grandparents and anyone with a thought on this question to attend the discussion in Westlock on January 12th.

Pre-registration is required.
