BES Welcomes Our New Teachers

BES is pleased to introduce our NEW Teachers!

Mrs. Arlene Bujold, Miss Megan Schmidt, Miss Jordan Kause, Miss Nicole Dezaeyer, Mrs. Dellainie Waters and Miss Amy Hoeksema

 

Mrs. Arlene Bujold – this is her twenty-second year of teaching, with this being her first year at BES!  She taught at Westlock Elementary School for the past 6 years.  Prior to that, she taught at Fort Assiniboine School for 5 years, Elmer Elson Elementary School in Mayerthorpe for 1 year and in Edmonton prior to that.  Mrs. Bujold looks forward to teaching at BES and getting to know the students, staff and parents.

Miss Megan Schmidt – this is her first year of teaching! She graduated from Concordia University of Edmonton in May 2018. Miss Schmidt moved to Barrhead from Edmonton this summer and is looking forward to exploring the community! She is very excited to be teaching grade six this year and looks forward to getting to know the BES students, staff and parents.

Miss Jordan Kause –   this is her first year teaching at BES. She is originally from the Stony Plain area, but moved to Lac La Nonne for a shorter drive and more sleep in time! She is very excited to be teaching grade 5 this year and looks forward to all the fun things 5D will be doing at school! When she is not at school, you can usually find her relaxing at the lake or visiting with family and friends. Miss Kause looks forward to getting to know the community better and having a great year here!

Miss Nicole Dezaeyer – this is her first year teaching! She completed her education in a collaborative program between Red Deer College and the University of Alberta. Miss Dezaeyer grew up in Barrhead and is excited to be back home teaching grade 2 and looks forward to connecting with staff, students and parents.

Mrs. Dellainie Waters – this is her third year teaching. She recently taught at Eleanor Hall School in Clyde. Mrs. Waters is ecstatic to teach in the school that she grew up in!

Miss Amy Hoeksema – transferred from Fort Assiniboine school after teaching there for 6 years! She looks forward to her new class here at BES!!
